Dr. Amarnath Mishra has supervised three Ph.D. scholars in the fields of DNA typing, analytical method development for anaesthetic drugs, and detection of fire accelerants in arson cases. He has guided over 300 undergraduate and postgraduate students (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Tech., M.Tech., M.B.B.S., and M.D.) in their major projects and dissertations.
Dr. Mishra has conducted specialized training programs and delivered lectures for more than 100 Investigating Officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Govt. of India, as well as officials from multiple countries under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (e-ITEC) Programme, Development Partnership Administration, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India. In addition, he has trained over 200 state police officers, legal professionals, and forensic experts at the Central Detective Training Institutes (Ghaziabad and Jaipur), BPR&D, MHA, Govt. of India.

Dr. Amarnath Mishra has published 10 books, 50 book chapters, and more than 120 research articles in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals and delivered more than 55 invited talks at various national and international events.
